How do I register my child for the club?

All registrations must be made via the NRL website. Our direct registration link is HERE

What is the cost to register for the season?

$150 for the 2025 season

Are there any discounts for multiple children or early registration?

Siblings discounts of $20 are now available.

To access the sibling discount for families with PLAYERS OF THE SAME GENDER - simply register as per usual and the discount will automatically apply at checkout.

To access the sibling discount for families with BOTH TACKLE AND LEAGUE TAG PLAYERS, please email our registrar, Megan Elphick, at juniors@brothers.com.au for a unique discount code.

When does registration open and close?

Registrations open for existing players in the December and for new players in January. We announce dates on our social media channels. Please follow our Facebook and Instagram pages to stay up to date.

When does the season start and finish?

Each season starts in April. Non-competitive season ends in August and competitive season ends in September after the Finals and Group 9 Championships. Season start dates are subject to change.

What do the registration fees cover?

Registration fees cover and include insurance, associated fees and costs with Wagga Wagga City Council and Wagga Wagga Junior Rugby League. All registrations fees are invested into the club to provide the best playing experience for our players.

For new players, registration fees also include your first pair of playing shorts and socks.

Can I pay the registration fee in installments?

No. The NRL website does not offer payment plans.

What day and time and where are training sessions held?

Whole club training is held Tuesdays, 4:30pm at Parramore Park. Competitive teams may also train on Fridays.

How can I get involved as a volunteer or coach?

Our club is run by parents, guardians, and even our grandparents get involved.

The committee always welcomes more help! Our club thrives on the passion and dedication of volunteers who help create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for our players. Whether you can coach, manage a team, assist on game days, or lend a hand behind the scenes, there’s a role for everyone.

General volunteers to help out behind the scenes on game day.

Do I need coaching experience to volunteer?

Experience is not necessary. All coaches must complete a Community Coach accreditation course, which consists of two parts:

Online Module – This must be completed before coaching a team. Modules are tailored to specific age groups and can be accessed: HERE.

Face-to-Face Workshop – This must be completed by June 30 of the current season.

Additionally, Wagga Brothers Junior Rugby League and NSWRL require all volunteers to hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check before registering. This applies to everyone, regardless of their relationship to a participant.

Where can I buy the team’s uniform?

Playing jerseys are supplied before each game and collected afterwards for laundering. Playing jerseys must not be taken home.

Playing shorts and socks can be purchased via our online merch shop. (Still being set up)

Are there any specific requirements for boots or gear?

We strongly encourage all tackle team players to wear both headgear and a mouth-guard. Football boots are a must for both tackle and tag players. Players can not take the field in regular running shoes.

What safety measures are in place during training and matches?

All teams must a volunteer First Aid Officer.

Can I bring my child to a trial training session before committing?

No. Unfortunately, all players must be registered to cover insurance for training.

What happens if a training session is canceled due to weather?

Team managers or coaches will advise via team chats and we will post to our social media channels.

How can I check the match schedule?

The draw will be posted on Facebook each week.

What is the club’s refund policy?

No refunds are given.
